Responsibilities:

  • Discusses inventory plan with relevant stakeholders, adjusting stock policies in line with the risk involved
  • Applies basic optimization techniques and lead time reduction techniques
  • Adjusts supply planning parameters according to latest developments(e.g. line speed upgrade)
  • Determines various scenarios for the supply plan, calculates impact, and proposes feasible solutions
  • Monitors the sales, production, and suppliers’ performance using the most up-to-date information
  • Quickly identifies critical from non-critical situations and re-plans accordingly avoiding overreacting
  • Considers the potential risk of changes to the plan at the last minute (e.g. availability of materials, disruption of other SKUs, low OPI)
  • Escalates issues to higher management when the risk involved is beyond his/her authorization level
  • Manages the information flow, ensuring data is delivered on time, according to agreed quality
  • Coordinates the supply planning process in a logical way taking into account interdependencies with demand planning, brewing, and scheduling activities
  • Organizes the supply review meetings
  • Discusses the supply plan with relevant stakeholders and leads decision-making during supply review meetings
  • Analyses supply planning KPIs (product availability, stock days, OPI) and propose improvements
  • Shows understanding of the interdependencies between customer service levels, production efficiency, and inventory levels
  • Understands the impact of changing demand on the supply plan
  • Understands the impact of adjusting supply planning parameters on the total supply chain
  • Understand the economic and financial impact of supply chain performance (e.g. higher stocks, overtime)
  • Allocates capacity considering the marginal contribution of different products or resources
  • Support and maintains ISO, TAP Quality system

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in science, Engineering, International Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience in Demand or Supply Planning, Inventory Management Factory Planning, Demand Planning in manufacturing or FMCG with at least 1 year as a team leader
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Work well with others and can work well under pressure with minimum supervision.
  • Good negotiation & problem-solving skills
